Naval Support Facility Anacostia (NSF) and Bolling Air Force Base (BAFB), which were already adjoining, but separate military installations were merged as a result of the BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure Commission). The Bolling Air Force Base billeting office has limited base housing and temporary lodging accommodations available for short term travelers on TDY assignment to Washington DC. The Bolling Inn has 287 guest rooms to include 100 temporary logding facility (TLF) units.
