Davis Monthan Air Force Base Lodging & Housing

The Davis Monthan Air Force Inn (BOQ) may issue a non availability statement authorizing travelers to stay off base in hotels and short term lodging for temporary duty assignments.  Many Airmen may prefer to seek temporary housing in furnished Tucson apartments or Tucson extended stay hotels when traveling on a short term assignment or Permanent Change on Station (PCS) reassignment.  Prior to house or apartment hunting be sure to verify the Military BAH Rates for your duty assignment location.

Davis Monthan Air Force Base Services & Information

Davis Monthan AFB is a key Air Combat Command installation with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), Air Force Fighter Pilot units, and the Davis Monthan AFB Boneyard of retired aircraft set aside for parts. Lodging is either on base at the Inn on Davis Monthan or in Tucson on the local economy where some travelers prefer to stay either in hotels or apartment rentals close to the University of Arizona. The closest military installation is Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista, Arizona which has Libby Army Airfield, a runway which is frequently used as a takeoff & landing airfield and an alternate NASA landing strip.
