Ft Carson MWR, Information, Units

Ft Carson is south of Colorado Springs in El Paso County, Colorado, and is home to the Brigade Combat Teams of the 4th Infantry Division, the 10th Special Forces Group, as well as units of the Army Reserve, Navy Reserve and the Colorado Army National Guard.  Fort Carson, named after Kit Carson, is known as the mountain Post, and is located near the U.S. Air Force Academy and NORAD near Cheyenne Mountain by Colorado Springs, CO.  With Fort Carson, NORAD, and the Air Force Academy all surrounding Colorado Springs, the town is very Military friendly and there is also an abundance of Apartments and Hotels in Colorado Springs.
