Fort Huachuca Information: Housing & TDY Lodging


Fort Huachuca is the home of Military Intelligence with several schools including Advanced Individual Training (AIT), the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) school, the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) course, the RC-12 Guardrail SEMA Aviation Transition Course, the Counter Intelligence CI Special Agent Course (CISAC) at Ft Huachuca, the 35M Course, the UAV External Operator Course, UAV Maintenance/UAV Maintainer Course,  the Military Intelligence Officer's Basic Course/MI Basic Officer's Leader Course (MIBOLC) formerly known as MIOBC, and the MI Officer Captains Career Course (MICCC) which for most travelers is a PCS move to Fort Huachuca unless you are a member of the Army National Guard or Army Reserve.  Fort Huachuca has a rich history as a former Cavalry Post during the Spanish American War with Mexico and is known as the Home of the Buffalo Soldier.  Major tenants on post include the 111th MI Brigade, 304th MI Battalion, 305th MI Bn, 309th MI Bn, 11th Signal Brigade, Electronic Proving Ground (EPG), Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), as well as a small contingent of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (Border Patrol).  The Army Post of Fort Huachuca is also home to many of the major Department of Defense (DOD) Contractors including Northrop Grumman, SAIC, Raytheon, and Lockheed Martin among others.
